Well. That was interesting. A major flood in my area with no electricy for 3 days, so far and another typhoon on its’ way. Though, thanks to one of the nephews with connections in the military, we had a joint effort Air Force and Army Search and Rescue Team show up at our door. They were equipped [...] This is the progress I’ve made 3 months after surgery to repair my fractured right femur. Unfortunately, the humid climate of this tropical island plays havoc with the pins that have been inserted – but nothing too serious. I’m doing pretty well, considering that at the 3 month mark, I’m supposed to just be starting [...] Right now, I’m in an extremely good mood. They just finished setting up my new Internet connection in my new dwelling. I also have the luxury of using my nephew’s computer – which is light years ahead of my old laptop (complete with printer). This will allow me to do contract work on-line instead of [...] After an extensive hiatus – I’ve finally found my way back to an internet connection. Although it’s via a local internet cafe. I’ll be back on-line with regular postings in a week or two after I get my new internet connection installed. This relates to the fact that I’ve moved to a new (and bigger) [...] |
