Well – That Was Interesting…

After an extensive hiatus – I’ve finally found my way back to an internet connection. Although it’s via a local internet cafe. I’ll be back on-line with regular postings in a week or two after I get my new internet connection installed. This relates to the fact that I’ve moved to a new (and bigger) home that I share with a few other family members. This makes for an interesting family dynamic – which I’ll describe in future postings. Other than that – my broken leg is healing well and I’ll be doing intertnet contract work from home – which is a lot better that cruising back and forth, in the rain, on a tricycle, etc. More to come …

  • Have I somehow missed something? — I can’t find an explaination on how you broke your leg (maybe I’ve just spent too much time starring at the PC Monitor today)!

    Hope your recovery goes well!

  • Thanks, Rob. Actually, (due to some stupidly done work done on the apartment next door)my kitchen flooded during a severe rainstorm. I went down the stairs, from my bedroom, while getting ready for work and I didn’t notice the water covering the floor (it was semi-dark since I worked nights). The first step I took off the bottom stair caused my foot to slip out from under me and I landed hard on my right thigh – effectively causing a fracture of my right femur. Nasty, to say the least. Thanks for your good wishes. Now that I’ve moved and had my new Internet connection installed today, I can update my site regulary and even work on-line.

  • Thanks for the explaination — Ack! That’s a nightmare! I hate flooding (I’ve had my own problems with such — backed up kitchen line, then a sewer line, then a leaking water heater, but at least It didn’t cause me to break any bones.
